KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Web / Database Manager

Looking for a fun, high energy environment? Everblue Energy seeks a savvy Drupal/Moodle website manager to leverage pre-existing modules and write custom modules in support of web-based learning management applications. You must have previous experience and a solid track record implementing Drupal-based sites and web applications.

Ideal candidate should have:

  • Intermediate Drupal knowledge: Able to build Drupal themes from Photoshop comps/mockups.
  • In-depth knowledge of Drupal 5/6 modules, Module Development, and Drupal Themes.
  • Integrating various 3rd party applications/programs (e.g. carts, Google Checkout, PayPal, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with PHP, MySQL, Javascript, AJAX, HTML/CSS, and cross-platform browser support.

The candidate must be able to use their knowledge of Drupal 5/6 modules and theming to consult and give guidance about the appropriateness of writing custom modules. The project requirements and priorities shift constantly; the candidate must be able to adapt and respond quickly. This is very important. You must be able to abandon old ideas and quickly adapt to current scenarios.

Bookkeeper

Everblue Training Institute has an opening for an experienced bookkeeper in the Berkeley area.

Duties include:

  • Accounts receivable/ invoicing / deposits
  • Accounts payables
  • Payroll
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Customer Service
  • Collections
  • Administrative duties

Candidate must have at least 5 years of bookkeeping experience, know QuickBooks, and understand GAAP/Accrual reporting. 

Graphic Designer

San Francisco/Berkeley/Bay Area

Candidate must be proficient in all Adobe Creative Suite software programs, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
